Religious School Grade Level Curriculum Guide

At Temple Shalom of the South Bay we believe a Jewish religious education must provide a positive learning environment that will leave each student proud of his/her Jewish heritage. Our school combines Torah Study with a sequential program toward building Hebrew language proficiency for B’nei Mitzvah preparation. In addition, we offer an "experiential education" that provides the foundations for students and their families to become productive members of the larger Jewish community.

Each grade experientially explores Judaism through the study of Torah, T’fillah (prayer), Holidays, Tradtions, Mitzvot and Modern Thought. Family Education and Participation is woven into our Religious School Program as an integral part of Jewish life.
