Our Religious School!
For the 2007-2008 School Year
As TSSB begins its third year providing our children a vibrant Jewish education, we first pay tribute to the dreamers who not only had the vision of creating a dynamic, interactive religious school experience, but who worked tirelessly for the past two years to bring that vision into reality. A GRATEFUL TODAH RABAH to our religious school’s founders : Lani Zaun, Jeff Bronchick; Carla Cohen; Ned Gill; Shereen Lavi; Don and Susan Liebson; Karen Powell, Scott Waxler; and Marlene Weiner !
We also pay tribute to this year’s Education Advisory Committee who spent this summer planning for the upcoming year: Mimi Fischer Chair, Scott Waxler Secretary, Mike Kalan and Leslie Ponciano. Artine Haimsohn serves as Room Parent Coordinator and Joan Wolff coordinates our Teen Social Program.
Why is TSSB’s Religious School unique? As an inclusive, egalitarian synagogue who welcomes and values differences, the religious school embraces community, collaboration, creativity and communication. We welcome you and your children this vibrant place of Jewish life!
Our view is that Jewish education is a partnership. It is a unique relationship between home and school, between parents, children and teachers. Through consistent communication, parent participation and education we hope to develop a true partnership.
Be part of our community!
Collaborate with the Religious School!
Communicate your interests, questions and needs!
Together we can fulfill the mitzvah of “v’shinantam l’vanekha”
B'Shalom

Costs
School Tuition - Tuition is $800 per school year per student.. There are no sibling discounts. This includes all school costs and a weekly snack. Tuition is nonrefundable once the school year has begun. The reason for this is that we limit enrollment, and we commit to the full year expenses based on the number of children attending our classes.
B'nei Mitzvah Class - B'nei Mitzvah training includes extensive work above and beyond traditional religious school classes and will be subject to an additional charge of $600, payable when the B'nei Mitzvah date is selected or when the training begins, whichever comes first. This charge is nonrefundable once training has begun.
